The big red lever is for hand steering. I'm using it as at the moment I am struggling to tack the yacht. And a make do technique is for me to sit up in the yacht to shift my body weight forward to get more weight onto the nose wheel. (And this means my feet come off the foot steering.)As the the current yacht set up and or my technique into a luff turn means the nose wheel goes light. In some cases I have done a wheelie half way through the turn. Not actually that much fun at 50mph, with other yachts about!

I'd reckon the AC72 might be better round a course- and, of course, with the extremely wide beam Hyrdoptere wouldn't measure in. |
