I think its great, but i agree with the number cap. I beleive the fact you have to be a regular poster to compete would make it a friendcly enjoyable event. We already have enough competitive handicap opens. This event looks set to be fun and friendly. Spot on Rodney.
As for me in a Finn, its a bucket list thing....and how hard can it be? Now Ben is giving up there is an opening, i would only be 35 by Rio.

Is this actually happening? If so where and when? Sorry i don't have time to go through the whole thread. I'm sure we could get a whole weekend at bough beech if needed. Could camp etc on site and have a party in the evening.

no contender if it's Broxbourne. It will be either the megabyte or one of my collection of dilapidated classic moths. If it's the low rider it will save you forking out on entertainment, just bring a cam corder and screen.

We will be sailing at Broxbourne Sailing Club this year but am happy to add BBSC to the list for next year. Before I put the options for 2013 together I will email all relevant clubs to check whether they would be prepared to host the event and also on facilities such as bar, evening meal and accommodation including camping for the more hardy souls

When is the event? Is it a suitable place for an I14? Can't see the acreage on the website. We sail on 270 acres so can't be impossible.

Actually, I still haven't sailed this contender since I got it a while back (item on my bucket list) and have no desire to damage it or me so early in my rehab! |
