hey,
Anyone recommend a good singlehanded skiff for a 15yo (10 stone) looking for something more exciting downwind than a laser? does not need a trapeze but preferably should have an asymmetric.  tried an rs 100 and 300 but im just not heavy enough.
thanks

Dave - give it a couple of years (of growth) and get in the 300 again.

Long tradition of youth's growing into and in the boat (and doing v well!)

The Farr 3.7 would be perfect for you, but right now you would have to build one yourself

Musto Skiff- and at 15, start drinking... You'll soon be more than 10 stone.

The Farr 3.7 demo boat should have been built by now by Butler Boats, but unfortunately Dave injured himself at the Streaker Nationals and this has put things back a bit. But give Dave a ring. He is working with a number of suppliers to create a UK 3.7 for a very good price. My boat is available for test sailing. And is currently at Blackwater Sailing Club for the youth section to sail over the Summer. As they are very interested in a fleet. PM me and we can hook you up with a test sail if you are not far away from Essex.
