That 49er video is fantastic.
I find it hard to believe that any accomplished sailor would find it that difficult but then again I did all my swimming in a 600 first!

At least the 800 uses the smaller of the two rudders. Same as the 200. I did wonder if the rudder had started to come up before the failure but the few glimpses of it prior seem to show it fully down.
