A few years ago Musto did knee pads with built in shin pads, they looked like something from gladiator.

You could just take one of these before you go sailing and you don't need to worry about girlie knee pads

Oh dear, what a sad lot you all are! When your testosterone levells fall enabling you to stop strutting like  rutting gorillas and your lions mane of hair recedes to a manageable lenghth, when you tire of wet knickers and gulping muddy water.....only then you will be ready. Ready for .....Solo!

My boat is plastic with a thick coating of paint. Inside there is a nice wooden sideboard upon which one can sit in a comfortable side-saddle position when wind is light. How pleasant it is to relax in this manner and make light hearted conversation with those arround you. Please my good friends, do not fear the future. When your limbs are tired your breath is short and your joints are stiff mix up your Horlicks (Monika Lewinski quote) and sail a Solo.

well with all this universal Solo loathing, it's good to know that they won't be around much longer and we should have scores of new fleets of exciting new boats popping up around the ponds and river clubs where they seem so prevalent....   Wink
