The RS100 Norther European event is starting to book up quite nicely. So far we have got 12 entries from 6 Nations (Only 5 boats from the UK too).
This is a cracking event and one not to be missed if last year is anything to go by. RS are offering a package for entry, travel (For you and your boat) for only £103. Potentially less than you would spend on a weekend open in the UK.

Anyone who bailed on today's GGP event at Draycote missed a good day on the water- variable winds, but seemed to be lots of place swapping going on.

I managed to pick up some video from my boom cam on my windsurfer of a good windward rounding, nice and close and 'noisy'- will post next week.

Last sunday i was sailing my RS100 and one Solo sailor asked me if i had tried different lenghts of bowsprit tack line. In fact: no. I never changed something there. Because this guy used to sail Musto Skiff i value his opion a lot. I had no opportunity to ask him about it, so thats why i ask it here. Is the lenght of tackline an extra control for the kite? If yes: in what way? To me it seems that if i give more lenght the luff is more loose/ rounder... what is the effect? (i do like experiments, but the current knot in my tackline looks like more than a challenge, so lets start with theory)

Is the local lake Westbere? If so, I'll have to get the spies out.
