Looking good!
I like to take pictures of sailing, but I'd rather be sailing!

Yep, I shall have to try and blag a GoPro or get the boys in the rescue boat to video with my phone, 1st thing I need to do is flip it, see if I can right it solo. I've put another set of jib halyards on so I can use my old Alto jib, that ought to make it go and give me enough power to get out on those racks, the way it was originally set up even with 9-10 knots it still wasn't enough to get sat right out on the lake, then there wasn't really enough space nor the gusts long enough to build sufficient speed to do so before hitting something.
So I've failed to make 'one boat does it all' now it all comes down to wether it's fast enough on the sea to beat what would be me in an MPS which is fairly definite once the wind exceeds 10 knots, what really remains is what else I can stay with/beat and what other 'surprises' there will be charging down wave faces with that big tunnel under the hull, I wish I'd rounded the bottoms a bit more now, like I'd originally first planned..

Looking good Graeme... Better than I expected, just look forward to seeing it sailed (either on video, or in the flesh!)

Still not convinced, that it may be the way to progress dinghy sailing (Those ideas were tried and forgotten in the '60's), but would love to be proved wrong..... Maybe you DO know something, that we do not!!!

Well it will progress my dinghy sailing which is what's important, this way I get to go fast and not have all that falling over sh1t, nor am I constrained by anyone else's errors but my own, well design wise anyway, the rig leaves a lot to be desired, (I've got my eyes on dumb and dumberers 800 rig sitting there doing nothing, think I might nick it, then we'll really see how fast she goes.. Wink

HEALTH WARNING. The gap between the deck and the innermost bar of the wings looks to be just about the right size for trapping or snapping legs during an unexpected slip/scramble/capsize.  PLEASE TAKE CARE.

DOUBLE HEALTH WARNING ... capsize that thing on your own with an offshore breeze and you'd better like cheese ...

Worried you might break a fingernail?

It has all be said; I have to say the funniest moment for me was when Dan said it may be a bit "sticky" sub 9 knots ... which you assumed was wind speed, he then corrected you that he meant hull speed LOL I fear you will be very slow upwind in all conditions.

I do take my hat off to you for having the balls to build this thing ... I await to see how it performs.
