No, a 32 knt gust crept up on him in away only available at B.S.C. I didn't even see the gust and I was upwind of him. It must have been one of those vertical ones!

I was meaning Meaningoflife!! What happened was a massive gust hit (club recorded 31knts) and the boat just got flattened going fairly fast!

As the capsize unfolded I was simultaneously laughing my head off and crossing my fingers. From a distance it looked like Piers hand tombstoned straight through the sail. Thank heavens he doesn't weigh that much! |

Haha yeah the just above freezing water and having spent 3 hours sailing it with BSC's shifts had really got me quite tired. Swimming in that water gets you out of breath pretty quick!
