But that scow, is built to twist the rating rules, GRF's boat will not be racing under rating rules, so yes he may be on something, (And I want the contact details of the dealer, he must sell strong stuff!) but only time will tell if he is going the right way.... I hope not!! (No offence Graham), I just think the scow shape hulls are taking us back to the 1960's, and are not particularly atractive! After all, to use a car analogy, would you rather drive a Vauxhall Insignia, or a Vauxhall Viva, a Ford Mondeo or a Ford Cortina? Things go in circles, but would be surprised if this closed the loop!

Still, only time will tell, and good luck GRF for thinking out of the box, and trying something different. Please do not take offence, but I would rather stick with the Blaze!

To be honest, I'd prefer the Viva and Cortina, to the jelly mould style of today, but that's not the point you were trying to make. As long as GRF paints it white and not some daft colour so it looks like a submarine or a grain silo I actually think it will LOOK alright, especially with a nice square top rig on it.

If anything goes wrong, especially electrical, I'd *much* rather have the Cortina... And believe me, the Blaze hull shape is practically going back to the 60s and not a good era in the 60s either...

Oh I would love to have my Mk3 Cortina 1600GT back. I loved that car, and there wasn't anything I couldn't fix or weld on it.

I really hope Graeme's boat works for him. I think it could well do, because he knows why it is like it is, and should be able to sail it accordingly.
Shouldn't be long now before we find out.
