Yachting over to guernsey for J cup for me, leaving on sunday morning.  Should be a very fun, boozy, week! Just a shame they organised it so close to the IRC nationals because we cant get back for them and do the J cup dinner.  Very wisely we chose the alcoholic route of going to the dinner over a quick sail back for the IRCs!

Bala Long distance for me. Sharing a Laser 2 fun. Looks like a good breeze which will suit us as we're a bit heavy for the boat really.

Hi All
we have a Phantom and Vareo open along with the Solution Nationals at Lee on Solent. Looks good 18mph Saturday from a good direction slightly less Sunday already have about 30 boats entered or saying they are coming so bring on the Exmoor beer arranged for Saturday Night. (as sponsors go what more can you want).

I'll be at the Thornbury SC Regatta.

Should be a good one with plenty of visitors and yet again the 'home-build' class association (sorry meant Cherubs!!!) should have a large showing.

We're thinking about going to Weston next weekend for the assymetric open meeting. But they have included the evening meal in the entry price, so the entry costs £50!!!

I'm not really interested in eating at the club and would rather go to a restraunt in Southampton.

Also, the first warning signal will not be before 10:30. This is a rather tight start time for visiting boats who need to rig from the trailer.

We love Weston as a club, but I am perplexed by these unusual arrangements. Has anyone seen this before? Has this affected the numbers attending in any classes?

Likewise, we are planning on going to Weston, but we'll be staying (and eating) in Portsmouth.

I suggest we both (plus anyone else who's not going to stay), calls or emails them.  The start is WAY to early too (12 would be more sensible).
