at £300 you'll struggle to find a more fun blasting boat on the sea.

Thanks for all the info....budget now clarified at around £1000....I was thinking of a moth but have been warned that they are nigh on impossible on the sea. With my price limit I think a 600 is out of range but I havent seen any contenders in range either?

Hard to recomend anything with no idea of budget (whats cheap to someone is expensive to someone else) but how about an Assy Vortex, really cheap fun.  Also an old IC could be worth a shout. £1500 will buy you alot of boat.  Other then that a 600 would be great fun and they are cheap as chips.

If you are looking at spending hundreds, It has to be an old contender.

Or a 600 - same speed as a 29er so you shouldn;t get board.  You can find them for around 1,500 quid now (not really very cheap - but good £ to performance and at 70kg you'd have a ball.

Why not take the jib off the Feva and sail it with just the main, save your money for when you are 17 and want to buy a car. Trust me, it makes sense.

I can highly recommend both the low rider and the contender ideas - you learn masses in either boat.
the same, but different...

Look on ebay and and find a rat boat that is you can beat some of the others on this forum to it first.
