So.. Another subject, what's going on with the flushing strips?

The new ones I fitted today, have an arrowhead shape cut at the stern end, what's that all about?

Gave my boat a bit of a going over, you have to watch the screws in the centreboard pivot securing clip, they tend to work free, at least mine had. It's easy to tighten the aft screw, but bloody nigh impossible to get to the forward one, I can't remember how I did it last time, think I used one of those flexible twisty extension things with a drill bit holder in the end. I really should have gotten a new spinnaker halyard its all worn and rough on the hands, I can see me breaking another nail..

One thing rigging the boat convinced me, now the handicap for the small rig is what it is, the boat is a waste of money and I think I shall sell it, no point even attempting a handicap series under that number with the small rig.

I shall press on with the V-Twin, there really is nothing out there for lightweights to contemplate, short of buying the epoxy Streaker, or returning to a Blaze.

This sport is definitely the province of the clinically obese these days.

 

 

 

Did your club do a PY return? If not then have done nothing to support you.

 

On that subject is there any plans for clubs to differentiate between the rigs in their returns? So we see if there is any real difference in the rigs over a longer period of time.
