Looks like your bike will need a bit of a clean and oil to get rid of the paint dust!

You've left the tumble drier door open too.

There'll be trouble.....

Quite right about leaving the epoxy to cure - it will be giving out solvents for quite some time, which can stop the next coat drying, cause eggshelling - all sorts of things. If the garage is unheated or poorly heated, it would be worth leaving it longer.

Just been reading the instructions for my next coat and it says it is solvent based primer..!
The Eposeal says I have to wait 7 days for a solvent FREE overcoat ?

Now I'm confused.

Paul,
Id wait as long as possible with Epoxy, 7 days min, longer in this damp weather.  I coated my mast(with west system) intend to leave my until next year now before any varnish goes on.

The solvent in the Eposeal will stop a solvent Free coating from going off. If you were using a solvent based product (same solvent) it wouldn't necessarily be a problem.

Think I will just wait for next weekend...the Eposeal was £25 and the next coat was £32 and I haven't bought the top coat yet. Don't want to start all over again. Not worth risking it, won't be sailing it until next year anyway.
