Still cant wait to get a towbar fitted to the Vr6

Only problem is that the fuel bill will bankrupt me, it only gets 25 average across a tank Cry

We'll not mention the name of the RS100 sailor who years ago wondered if he could fit a tow bar to his Ferrari to tow another of his RS boats..

You can't fit a towbar on an RS6. Audi have a peverse attitude towards letting you tow with their cars frequently blocking it on some of the really obvious candidate cars. My beloved S3 had to be replaced for this reason once I decided to get back into sailing properly.

A5's ae ok though (not much less boring than the BMW though).

Personally I find it hard to go beyond my Astra Van as a decent sailor's vehicle...

Most people your age drive a Nissan Micra Automatic Grumbles!!  I guess this time you would want a car you can reach the peddles, without the use of Gary Glitters platforms??

I had a go in one of those hybrid Toyota things the other day, thought great, this'll do the job, then they pointed out they don't tow.

So I'm still in a dilemma, the truck needs replacing, the Amarock aint out yet.

Likewise, not a diesel fan James, although I do enjoy driving Amys 156 2.4JTD. Goes like stink and sounds somehow like a V6.....
