Yeah its more complicated than that. N yeah german and dutch are similar, dad can understand dutch because he speaks german, they may not be exactly the same but if you speak one you can get by in the other.

yeah but there more to learnign a language than a translation u need to know grammer and tenses, then slowly ull be able to translate correctly
