Radixon:

>>  following that, I have got a crewing post for
Brightlingsea SC Pyefleet week so will be camping over
there too.

Its worth checking the start times for Pyefleet Week. If the starts are on opposite sides, it would be worth bringing one of your fleet over as well: sail one race in the FBall, and sail again in the Laser / 700 or something different!

And if anyone else wants a great week sailing at Brightlingsea, 7-14th August: See: http://www.sailbrightlingsea.com/pyefleet.asp

One race a day for each class, alternating AM then PM during the week. Big races for all cboats on the Saturday and Wednesday. Evening entertainment each night, camping almost 100yds away, and a bar that will serve you in a wetsuit!

Pfft, we have a regular B14 circuit member who declares his home club as Ely SC and another claims Frensham as "home" (though it is at least home to the rest of his personal armada)

I know....it amused me on 2 fronts....

1st singlehanded I14 (that would shut a load of people up)

2nd an I14 at Burghfield.....kite up....kite down (quickly).....on the wire....off the wire (tea-bagged).
