According to yesterday's cheerful weather chappie, 2010 has been the driest on record (thus far) since 1926.
We've still got high water levels here at Draycote - 89% if ST can be believed - but I can't help thinking that a
lot of reservoirs are going to be seriously depleted by the time the monsoon season starts (in August, usually
whichever week you happen to have booked a seaside holiday).

Best cup of tea I've ever had was made from Loch Lomond water....it's the acid.

Wasn't it a bit salty ?

It wasn't when I went there as a youngster but that was about 5 million years ago.

Never sailed there but would seriously like to. Just a bit of cruising.

Chasewater in staffs/ walsall has been empty for repair, Draycote may be able to give them a place to sail at a discount till they get the water back, I went to chase when Blithfield was close for foot and mouth, they gave us a discount.
