See my above comments! PS. I used to teach at the "Residential Centre" as it was called then and was owned by the council. We use to rob their boats every year to do the NSSA regatta. Edited by simonrh |

I sailed there until I went away to be a student (mid 90s) and came back Winter 2008 with my vortex. Chris, I was building up momentum to try and bother the missus for one of the early deals on these but i found out we have a pre-order on one of those other things that comes on a 9 month delivery (due late september fingers crossed) and proceeds to take all your money (bit like an RS100 really). Which means spending the cash on a boat may not be greatly appreciated. Besides the vortex and I have lots of unfinished business (nose up si, nose up) |

Simon's the one with his transoms in the air and rudders out of the water doing an impression of an Extreme 40 losing it on the bear-away !!!!!! 20 minutes sailing, 30 seconds of hilarious full-on nose diving, 30 minutes of righting it from capsizes with the kite up ! Come on Simon you know you need an RS100 as well as the Vortex ! |

Blimey thats a bit of a shocker - all that cast iron apendage and goes the same speed as our lovely new shiny hi-tech rS100's. Obviously knew a thing or two that Uffa Fox ! Thinking about it (not done so before) the RS100 is going to be the slowest boat I have ever sailed - but the one that looks nicest and by far the one I am most looking forward to !
