So the big question is who got the other customer boat and where is that
one going to be based?

[/QUOTE]

Did hear there was a Swiss guy on Lake Geneva possibly looking to get into a
new class - but they wouldn't let him join in because he insisted on having
the right to change the the rules, to be the judge and jury and be able to
change the boat and the venue at the last minute !

I'm sorry, did say I wouldn't go down that route again !!
Not now Kato (you fewl) !

Bit tricky on a rotating mast with no stays?

Jimbo all this adjustment sounds bloody complexed fella!  I know you like a bit of string and a few blocks, but Jesus!

I'm not sure what a welsh/essex hybrid would would look like, but i'm guessing:

Rake???  Christ the only rake Jimbo knows about is the one his servants use to mop up the leaves on the tennis courts!  Don't even asking what do do with a RAM??!!  I'm sure he a welsh descendant!

End of March.

I am expecting the initial rig setup to be pretty straight forward with only the ram and the caps to adjust in static mode.

Then after time get a feel for how much rake is required dependant on wind.

Cheers,

Keith

Keith, Have you got a firm date for your boat yet? Have asked JP, but no news so far

Perhaps Nick could give us all some general rig and sailing set up advice, even with some piccies?

When sailing the Finn, I found it great to have so much set-up information - made getting started dead easy. .... and removed the excuses!!

Obviously it'll not be as easy on the 100 as we're the guninea pigs this time!

Is yours the first customer delivered boat?

Are there others now delivered along with yours?

Just out of interest did I read that you are opting to tow with the mast
taken apart? Is it easier than leaving assembled and laying in mast post as
per normal.

Cheers,

Keith.

Hi Keith,

No I was not alone, 2 boats from the first five went to UK consumer
customers, 3 have gone via RS's distribution network to onward
customers, not quite sure which countries though.

Of course leaving the mast in one piece is easier, but break it down gives
options and safety considerations.

The Hyde mast bag can accommodate the mast in either full one piece or
broken down into the upper, lower and stump sections- nice designed bit
of fabric that, worth the money if you're planing on travelling much.

cheers

Jimbo

So the big question is who got the other customer boat and where is that one going to be based?
