Not pro American just pro fairness and good sportsmanship - I was fully behind GGYC and BMW/O simply because of the totally
unreasonble agreements between ISAF and SNG, and the complete
lack of independence in having SNG run the racing seemingly by any rule they
thought would suit Alinghi best

Great update - thanks.

Bummer that you got one of the early boats with a soft-sail rig - new
ones coming with solid wing rig and 1000msq genniker (soo.... 2009 soft
sails and spinakers !).

Hope there is absolutely no wind for the next month & half - so you don't
get too much early practice !!

Role on end March !! Cant wait now.

Sounds like it will be worth the drive down. I tried to look pretty
closely at everything At the boat show, but could do with as many tips
as I can get even on the basics of rigging and set up.

From speaking to them I think GRF's boat was made last Friday
afternoon;-)

I'm glad I waited for that 2nd batch, with that new epoxy bubble resin that
reduces a the weight and increases the stiffness.

Did you go down to Chandlers Ford to collect it?
