That mainsheet takeaway is a top idea, have you tried it in action? For some reason I can't get the mainsheet to stay in this boat, I can't remember it being this much of a problem last time I sailed 600's.

wasn't on mine either... bit of bungey tapered into the end and tied off
around the mainsheet block... no cleat or riser to get in the way though.

Same here, it's the same length and type but for some reason I spend half my time trying to retrieve it from behind the boat, it even gets sucked out of the little gap between the hull and the transom bar. That takeaway system is worth it just for pimp value though so I'll give it a whirl.

I'm going the club tomorrow so I'll take a few pics of it and anything
else anyone wants. I tried it out on the boat for the first time this
weekend and it works really well. I haven't prfected the elastic length
yet though. I may have to use a bigger ring and with longer elastic to
get more of the slack taken up. I'm glad you lot like it though. And this
was one of my own ideas. If anyone else wants a closer look at the
pimps on my boat then it will be at grafham for the winter champs on
the 13th/14th and it will be on the 600 class stand at the dinghy show
in march

I'm interested to know what ideas Mr TT has for pimping a brand new, shiny , straight out of the box, be-carboned RS100 in the coming weeks.

it's 'Pimp Club' Salty... of course we like it, you can't go wrong...

'Bimble Club' on the other hand are a miserable bunch of sods who would
probably find fault with nearly all of your modifications and get all anal
about class rules... t**ts.

That's the "anti bimble" club. True members of "Bimble Club" do frown upon the ostentatious use of colour matched ropes and see no need for custom decals, but do appreciate a well designed modifaction. True acolytes of bimbling always have a spare battery for their power drill charged and ready.

Stomp pads
Camo Hiking staps
Coloured Mafi rope
a vynal wrap in full carbon
a carbon coloured spinnaker (possibly a painted thing)

And if you are GRF it will be
