Ha cheers Neptune, Tie lights are no good for control lines, i did Harken on the last 3, so i am happy to stick with the ronstans for now!

Steve, i have only been doin it as the lake is frozen solid still!  If its not defrosted by Friday i will trawl the old girl up to Draycote for a blast.  Having said that it needs some TLC in terms of new rope and shockcord before it all works properly again!

It looks better in the flesh JImbo, i took the photo on a crap day with my phone.  I have to say it is not as pretty as the one i had made for the last 300.

I have today finally managed to remove all the grippy paint that was on the deck and she is now looking shiny!!  I am booking her in Monday to be refurbished (remove the knocks and knocks in the gel) I have now also tidied up the carbon tack tick bracket with blue anodised bolts as well as removing all the old tape and lacquered it with epoxy.

Rope ordering is commencing Monday!!!  Does anyone know if and how to splice proper swift cord (the one with no core)

F**k me, Russ. Have you ever thought about actually sailing the boat instead of beautifying it?

MPS boom is only 1cm shorter than the 300. Could a 300 carbom boom now be a possibility now that the 100 has one?

The Bracket came with the boat mate, the one i had made by LDC looked better but probably isn't as strong.  I have rubbed the bracket down and cleaned it up with some new blue anodised bolts and a fresh coat of epoxy!  I am in Southampton Wednesday so i will pop into LDC and see what they have in stock.

Russ the Evo Race 4mm does still exist mate! I bought some
not too long ago. And at the boat show the RS800 there had
all new control lines made from that stuff.
Have you seen my thread on the rope issue? It seems you
have to really insist that you get the 'Melange' colour
otherwise you get sent some standard sh*te that doesnt look
cool.
Im waiting to see what Adam from LDC can do about my order.

That carbon bracket looks a bit swish. Much better than the
pikey one i bought!
