Hunts was not frozen yesterday but the ice is a-forming so I would imagine it will be pretty solid by tomorrow morning.

All the fen drains were frozen solid on the way back home.

Not yet.  There was a big margin of ice round the shore opposite the busway though - probably stretched across at least 30m.  People are skating on the flooded fields next to the Ouse.

Wish I had some skates, then I could really trash myself!

Frensham frozen since Boxing day. Least ice was on New
Years, offered to drive the ally boat to clear up but it
was pointed out the wind was N which would push the pieces
onto the jetties.

Was duty officer on Sunday, went down to check and managed
to slip a boot in checking ... idiot.

Looks like lasting into next weekend
