Ouch, the 'special price' for the RS100 is £6950 inc VAT.

No offence to RS, but any Devoti boat is going to be a somewhat higher quality product. Not necessarily a a better design, but more carefully finished. Also, I believe the D1 is epoxy versus vinylester- there is a price (and performance) difference there. Ultimately, the RS is to a certain extent built to a tighter price spec than the D-one.
