Cool job!  My parents are friends with the MD (I think) of Hornby - he sails at Ramsgate.  You should try shmoozing him at the Christmas party - maybe Hornby could put their expertise to good use by entering the dinghy market!

Yep.... I've sailed a bit with him in the past, but not so
much lately.... concentrating on my own boat. Actually, in
the not so distant past Hornby owned a boaty company -
Fletchers Sportsboats..... got their fingers burned a bit I
think..... Wonder if they're still going....?? * Edit - Yes

just the man to ask....... my 3 month old daughter wants Scaletric for x-mass  to be fair to her, i think she would rather a pony going round the track than a motor car. Can you buy horse scaletric?

You should see some of the rubbish we've added to
the Scalextric brand! Anyone remember Rampant Ninja Turtles
or something..... We had those on some sort of motorised
sledge or something.... Complete cobblers if you ask me....

We don't do 0 guage - sorry... 00 - yes.... Do you a nice
