we will keep the d ones at the real club nautico in valencia..... even notorious extremists are more than welcome to come and sail, cannot guarantee they will make it through customs though...sailing the d one is worth the risk...

Vicar of Bray!

Be careful someone doesn't alert the surgical glove brigade about a 'drug
mule' heading their way..

well. do not really understand the similarities between turnturtle and the lady from the pics....but have to change my judgement on his skills in understanding aesthetics...though sailing is something else and if you sail with one asimmetric you do not sadly sog downwind , but heat up and fly.....sailing the d one will be dangerous if keeping stubburn about ill convincements is a done deal.....might bring some more confusion to the man .....nothing a good beer cannot heal   light winds in valencia today and rafa and gasper made me suffer, but you know what, a bad day sailing beats a good day working....

no fear Graeme, my opinion's are unlikely to change on the fundamental criticism... price and aesthetics,
but you can't be around dinghies as long as I have and not have a passing admiration for the build
quality and general sense of purpose of a Devoti Finn, and it would interesting to see if this has been
translated onto the D-One and of course, sailing any asymmetric singlehander without having to get all
jiggy with it on a wire is going to be good.

Is this off topic?

I am not sure about the aesthetics

Rodney

Hi,
I love the look of the boat, and think that would be perfect
for Australia. Can any sailmaker make the sails? How much for the boat
with and without sails?
Approximately how much to ship to Australia?

i have received a lot of emails like this, so i am a bit surprised by the
compelling need that this gfr bloke has to show his anger, by the way the
d one having weight equalization and one unstayed mast depowers much
better and therefore allows light guys to sail, from what i understand this
gfr bloke, is lightish....but i am certanly not trying to convince him to sail
the d one , we like positive energy in the class....going sailing 28 degrees
here in valencia and light winds ciao luca

Well clearly Luca does...

Luca who in all probability wear volleys and or speedos.

It's an opinion Luca - build a wall - and get over it.

Your boat is totally useless to me, as well as being ugly..Fact.

Had it a centreboard, tilting rudder I'd have bought the first one, straight
out even though it's ugly, ugliness doesn't worry me I see it every day
shaving.. It's practical performance that counts and lake boats are useless
on the sea and if you haven't noticed, I live on an island, and sail on the
coast
