Love it, can't wait to have a go, looks like a very stable platform to me.

Mine arrived last week, with a light blue deck as an hommage to the great
Ben Ainslie (his Finn has the same deck colour). Unfortunately, the arrival of
the D-One matched the end of my summer holidays, so I'm not able to sail
it except in Saturdays...

Yesterday we had more than 30 kts at the club

What I need now is a good name and a logo, and possibily a rigging manual
(shame to Luca ).

The most beautiful piece of gear I ever owned. An Englishman passing near
shouted: "it's a war machine!".

Hi Matteo,

Very pleased to hear that you are another happy D-One owner!

Luca asked us to produce a rigging manual some weeks ago.  We are working on it now and it will be ready next week.  Apologies for the delay!  We will post a version on the internet and also one will be delivered with each new D-One.

For all those interested in trying a D-One we are planning a demo weekend at Burghfield SC just west of Reading  19th/20th September - please email us to book a test sail at d-one@suntouched.co.uk

Rodney ,

will there be any more demo runs coming up as I am away in the sunshine on the September dates but keen to try?

Here is an example of the MPS rigging guide ... maybe a useful example as we have had good feedback on it ...

The D-One rig is more similar to the Finn's one than the MPS. I successful rigged the D-One following the schematics on the German Finn Class. The genny is a little more trouble, as the tack has to be set at a certain distance from the pole end.

So, a nice name for a D-One?

How about:  "D-One?  You have been!"  Sorry, couldn't resist.  I've nothing against the boat.

"D-One and Dusted"?
