I was also going to the cvrda event but recent misdemeanours mean I am grounded.  May well sail at GWSC on Saturday as Hunts will be overrun by Jeffers and other competitive types for the laser open, then on Sunday I will either resurrect the phantom at Hunts or go to Grafham.  For some reason I have then volunteered to do safety cover at Hunts on Bank Holiday Monday, if allowed....
the same, but different...

Can't believe a young lass like you would be off to Roadford sailing with the
undead..

We have some sort of Festival of the Sea going on at Sandgate and I've just
had an email announcing racing is off for Sunday and we're all trooping
down there for the day to do God knows what, Gawk I guess.

Then we're doing a LeMans off the beach start to race back, that'll be
interesting especially if its knotched up a tad as it usually does if we head
off anywhere..

There might nto be that many of us there you know. Hoping for a good club turnout though. The wind is looking good too .

What is happening on Bank Holiday then? I was not aware of anything going on...

The club will be open but no galley.

Villan, shame your out. I know someone may want a crew /helm in a Jollyboat (sort of overgrown Albacore with Trap and kite. So probably faster than an Albacore )

Should be good spectator sport at Grafham this weekend for the Moths, Canoes and Vortexes..

I may well venture out in the contender for a closer look.  Hope the wind doesn't drop too much, nice forecast at the moment:

It's the Kielder Open this weekend - Ospreys, Lasers, Fast Handicap and Slow/Junior starts.  Camping available at the club, good food, bar, and the weather's looking good.  More info at www.kielderwatersc.org.
