Bank holiday weekend coming up I'll be at broadstairs doing a bit of a
training session in a Radial. It should be a good speed tuning weekend
which will hopefully get me closer to the right pace. Quite looking forward
to it.

make sure you race on the monday doug as this is for a new event named after one of our sailors who died last year in a quad bike accident when towing the boats up the beach all money raised goes to the local hospice.

We shall be out in the five on monday

Retired now after 35 seasons in a row and time for a rest.

I'll definitely be out on the monday, I'll be there sat sun and mon. Monday is
going to be the main speed training day for me as there's a very quick
person who'll be there on the monday, but I'm sure we'll do the race.

One last day to get a bit of practice in before packing up. Taking the overnight Portsmouth- St Malo on Tuesday, destination: Carnac. It's the "Neil Pryde Sailing - B14 European Championship" from Friday (so we should be able to get some practice in Wednesday and Thursday too). Looking forward to it.

My kids will be out tomorrow for the first time on their own in Oppies after proving themselves quite adept at helming the Miracle, as long as it's not too breezy. I've seen one forecast for 12 knots (probably the top end of what is sensible for the first time our) and one for 15 knots (probably best not to..), so fingers crossed!

Bank Holiday Regatta at Bala.  Looking forward to windward / leeward races instead of fighting the kite on beam reaches.  We've had force6 for four weekends in a row now! let the good times continue. All are welcome to join in.

Hunts SC (Cambs) Laser open this coming Saturday, 11am start 3 races if anyone fancies joining us. The long range wind looks pretty nice at the minute.

Was going to be going down to the CVRDA Nats, but the crew now cant make it (and we havn't even float tested the boat yet .. ) so the Vareo and the Blaze will be off to Datchet one day over the bank holiday.
