RS 800

I think that the Class association has approved a slightly modified deck lay-out (first seen at this years dinghy show) I think that was the version used at the trials,

If the 800 gets selected for the olympic it would be like a big bague coloured woolen jumper gently plod round the course. I would actually die of boredom watching one of those!!!!

Give 'em a 14, That would be a real spectators boat!

There is a new 800 design in production and yes they are sailing with the
older ones. However, the olympic trialed one is again slightly different, off
the boom sheeting for e.g (which is not class legal, and I very much doubt
ever will be).

The rs800 class itself is fantastic, socially and racing wise. Very competitve
and friendly fleet, and second hand boats are getting ever cheaper, and are
just as quick as the new ones, looking at the nationals and any past events.

BBSCfaithfull you seem to forget that not everybody that sails, wants to sail
14's. Your derogatory insults to every dinghy class known apart from 14's is
frankly boring and utter sh*t. How you seem to relate every thread in this
forum to 14's, is beyond me.

Well, I'll be able to see what he sees in 14's in a few weeks.

Gonna have to have a drag race with the Spice of course .....

Simsy, You're talking out of your arse fella. I wasnt trying to be derogatory. I only posted that because i wanted to and not out of pettiness etc. Come on simsy grow a pair and just accept 800s are for soft c**k's. And to be honest Its my opinion and i will give it when i want to and i really couldnt care less if you like it!
