just because it doesn't suit me, my weight, my sailing venue doesn't mean
lots of other folk won't like it.

Then I'll shut up and stop annoying the Eyties..

I take it it does come with one forward and ten reverse gears.

Will post the dates and venues here as soon as finalised and look forward to seeing you at one of them!

The gears thing makes sense as a special for the Italian market so I will put your idea to Luca

See, in spite of comments to the contrary, we do listen to the input from this forum, especially the constructive ones

Rodney, I'd love to have a go even though I consider myself wildly
underweight for the boat. Put me down for a demo.

Hi Doug, Consider it done.  When we publish the program just drop me a line.

I've removed some of the handbags comments from this and the RS100 thread. Please keep comments on each of the designs to each of the threads.

Cheers

Mark

Thanks mark. Much appreciated

D-one'ers
Is there any chance you would be able to get some D-one tacking and
gybing footage on camera and then on youtube or a similar site.
I've seen the boat going in a straight line but it would be good to see several
tacks in a row and several gybes in a row.

Please remember that the leach has been shortened by 10cms so boom is higher.

Great video rodney and sten still looks like the mast goes along way over the bow i know when its blowing my vareo does the same thing but at least it has shrouds to stop it are they at all worried about it doing this ???

The more the boat accelerates the less I would have thought it an issue as it
will release the pressure on the mast. How it copes with a high speed
pitchpole however, will be very interesting indeed. It will either be a big
OOOPS or it will prove to be a very impressive mast indeed.
