	Hmmm ... Fireball! Changing the centerboard ( Our White one is cracking ... so we are putting the Yellow one in ( And hopefully restoring the White one ) ) and going for a sail. Following weekend .. Going to Datchet for the day on Saturday ... Anyone wanna join us? We are just going for a general blast .. so all light fun. Then ... Fireball Open!! Our first one!!! Wahey!!!!!

	will be sailing the 300 for the 1st time in a month on the sat, after finally getting my mast back with a nice new sleeve of shiny carbon then a instructor party in the evening/ til sunday morning at the Sailing Club... oh what mischief can i get up to with a lake, boats and anchors during the night then a nice early morning sail on the sunday

	Should be fun! Off to Datchet with the Fireball on Saturday ( Look for us .. Yellow hull, "yikes!" down the sail, GBR 13013 sails ) and then off for a few light beverages down the club with mr ratface for the evening.

	I'll be out next Sunday. Unfortunately I was doing a duty this last Sunday which looked great on the Medway. About a 3 in the morning and a 4+ after lunch with lots of sun. It's good to see the 4000 class building we had 3 out and a new team joining and another going to look at a boat in the evening. Potentially that will give us 7 boats and the likelyhood of a regular 4 or 5. The nice thing is that there are several assorted boats with similar performance in the fast handicap fleet. So we have the 800s to chase and a 5000 we can sometimes keep up with and then an Osprey or 2 and a couple of 29ers snapping at our heels. We have a 59er too, which gets around the course in a completely different way. Then there are the Musto Skiffs and the Vortexes and even a Canoe to deal with. I guess for completeness I should also mention the 2 Contenders, a V3000 and the 400. So quite a mixture but for the 4000s this always provides some competition - so naturally its a growing class. If anybody in the SE wants to join in then PM me and I'll give you a map - you will be made very welcome.

	im on safety boat on sunday, during "race squd", this translates as getting moaned at by lots of 11-16 year olds that so-and-sos boat is faster than theirs and its not fair. I took to telling them shut up moaning and sail last time, that was after telling them to sheet in and round up and getting a blank look. This time i might try to be helpful.
