We are the receiver of the challenge, so it shall happen at a location of our choosing, which shall be decided at a later date.

Spectators are, of course, welcome. ( £5 spectating fee! )

So if i'm to understand correctly you're racing a I14 against a Spice to clarify if a Spice sailing singlehandedly could overtake a Musto Skiff?

In my humble opinion that sounds a little bit daft. However, I can remember about five years ago singlehanding a Buzz downwind in very light conditions and pacing an RS700 downwind. I must have weighed about 9 1/2 stone at the time and was well powered up, the other fellow was probably the right sort of weight for a 700 and was not wiring yet.  Maybe this goes someway to answering your question?

Yeh, Its now turning into a "go for a blast, and just see how fast the spice is when we sail it properly against another fast boat" day.

erm, Alex C the spice wasn't being singlehanded at the time of the musto thing

TT can we borrow you and your boat please...

maybe we could make some money out of this

and the venue should be BLYM cant be bothered to pack the boat up etc
