The same thing happened to me when i was teaching yesterday. All of a sudden you've fallen out the back of the boat and now your group won't listen to you because they think you can't sail |

Villan, you really think it was wise to name the victims? They may decide to target your OWN toestraps now... (oh no, I'm not giving them ideas...) My dad's toestraps once broke and he fell out but managed to keep hold of the shrouds somehow, I've had several nearly embarassing moments in toppers of all things when I miss the toestraps and sliiide...

I've had toe straps break on me in the 400. I guess i just hiked so hard? once at the start of a long distance race. Manage to keep my self in the boat using the jib sheet. Just a shame I had to hike on a piece of rope for 12 miles.

well i forgot to hook on today and calmly stepped off the side of a 600 on a blistering reach. got towed along by the mainsheet or awhile befre it decided it was going to fall over.
