You can occasionally pick up a blaze for sub £2k

MXRay no class racing, and poor upwind performance, but amazing down wind.

Supernova, simmilar to a laser/eps, has fully stayed mast with lowers and fully battened sail, maybe if your lucky sub £2k

Pantom, if your extremely lucky you may get one for under 2k, but you will struggle when the wind gets up.

Solo, older class, nice boats.

Streaker, not sure about the handicap

Very much depends on whether you want to sail for fun or race. You can pinch a Finn on flat water and even moderate waves and it will sail very nicely. However to sail one fast you need to really drive it. Ideally I'd say if very very fit minimum 13 stone. For most mortals 14.5 stone plus.

It may do but give the Blaze a chance if you want something a little different. I have had mine out in a F6+ and nwhile it is a handful it is easily depowered (10Sqm sail) and it is nice to just cruise upwind when it is blowing wgile everyone else struggles!
