The Europe is definitely a steep learning curve! I have often been told that they are easy to sail, very hard to sail well.

Never sailed a Streaker personally but they do look like nice boats and they are absolute handicap bandits!

personally, i would reccomend the streaker, its well balanced, spacious, and quite forgiving, however, i am a bit biased. i would say that from my experience, the europe is very twitchy and might be a bit of a struggle learning in one. i would say just try anything you can borrow and make a judgement from what you have sailed.

I am probably a bit biased... but the Europe is a lovely little boat. I am 6ft (and a girl) and weigh about 63kg and it suits me wonderfully.

In light winds the cockpit is a little cramped, but the fun you have when the wind picks up makes those moments of being crouched down in a gap near the front kinda irrelevant.

It sails differently to most singlehanders too. You sail very loose and there is no weather helm at all. I adore mine, if you're anywhere near Llandegfedd Reservoir in South Wales you're more than welcome to have a go in mine :)

The streaker is the most comfortable for that height and is a lovely boat. Otherwise yes the lightning is also a good choice.

A europe is ok if you're a flexible 5'10" (I am 5'11") better in fact than a byte or a splash or anything along those lines because in light winds the cockpit is quite cramped (her indoors has a byte).  The streaker is the most comfortable for that height and is a lovely boat.  Otherwise yes the lightning is also a good choice.
the same, but different...

The Quba is the new Pico isn't it? Could be worth a look.

Depends if you want Plastic or GRP, the Topaz, Feva, Q'ba fill the plastic section, otherwise as said the Byte is cheap (with original sail) or you have the Comet
