Dart 18 will suit you fine.  Good value and good fun at your weight singlehanded.  Ideally suited to adults and kids as long as you don't scare them in a real blow!

Another option could be a Dart / Sprint 15.  Lots of combinations to play around with jib/no jib, trapeze etc, but you might find that its a bit under powered when other adults are on board

Hi Owen,

Dart 18 all the way in my opinion.

Cheers

Im looking to get a cat but not sure what would suit me better. Im not looking to spend loads (£600 or less) and was looking at either a dart 18 or a hobie 14/16. I will be either sailing solo or with my small kids on board. There may be times when i wish to take other more grown up passengers.
I weigh around 13 stone and my kids are currently 8 and 4 though they only both weigh less than 3 stone each.
Thanks in advance for you replies.

Owen
