I could be interested, if there are any spaces. It may even help improve my pitiful attempt at sailing, before passing lack of knowledge on to others!!!

Quick update:
 
The training day went well. An experienced 29er / 800 guy with an experienced Contender sailor stepped in to do the honours.
 
The free race coaching from the RYA (6 sessions) has started and has been well attended by those previously nervous of racing + a few others brushing up.....session 2 this saturday. Great Job Smile
 
We have  some (numbers not established yet, apparently) experienced racers booked in for the RYA Racing Coach course Thumbs Up
 
One member (twice Merlin Champ) has recently done the race coaching course off his own back and reckoned it was very useful.

they did come ansd see us only a week or so ago Paul, but it does seem they are missing some clubs out which isn't good.

Plus a bit of mud in the eye for those who say the RYA is not supporting grass roots racing...
 
The support is there you just have to know where to look for it (which is not ideal).

The RYA have offered some free coaching, 6 sessions I believe although they couldn't do the 23rd april, understandably it was too short notice.
 
We have now arranged for a couple of our experienced racers to facilitate.
 
Thanks to all who sent PM's with offers of help, sincerely appreciated.
