Hi. I have just recently bought an underwater housing for my (wifes) Panasonic TZ4 which I'm planning to use to get shots on & under the water. Had a flyer sent thro to work to get 20% off - so that made it a more reasonable price at about £129 direct from Panasonics eshop. Course.... it only fits the TZ4 & TZ5, so if you havn't got one of them....... Damn fine cameras if you are in the market for something like that. Lovely Leica lens & decent spec.... I wouldn't take my Canon 5D on a rib or dinghy without serious protection as it's a wee bit pricey with a decent E lens strapped on as well......

Just seen the prices of the EWA Marine ones .. The cheapest one ( U-A ) is around £200! I think not.

Might go for the Aquapac equivalent I think, somewhere around £60 if memory serves me right.

I've used an Aquapac case for my digicam and it has been great. Know nothing about the SLR case though.

For a general lens have a look at the Tamron 18-250. Ive been using mine on a 30D. It's a great 'walk about' lens

Which lens you got on its way James?
I wrap mine in cling film to protect from splashes

Hi Villan, as resident Y&Y photographer i think I can offer some advice! I know Aquapac do a dslr case which isn't too expensive, I cannot guarantee that it will fit your camera though, it might be worth having a look on their website. Personally I use a EWA marine dive case, they have quite a few options for your camera. Have a look at www.ewa-marine.de you can type in your camera make and model and it gives you a range of options. I find the image quality with these is just about as good as having nothing in front of the lens, here is an example or two....

Needs to sail more...
