It's all bent out of shape, designed badly, got this wrong with it that wrong
with it I just can't stand it.

Call me a wind snob I dunno, I just wouldn't feel right in it..

There is so very very little stuff about that works the way it should imho it's
all wrong in one way or the other..

Maybe I'm just too picky.

that boat looks very Farr 3.7 inspired. Maybe even is one?

go here G.R.F get some plans sent over and get a builder to make one for you.

edit: just seen that the sellers says it's 15ft. If it is it ain't a 3.7

G.R.F, don't waste your money on that thing.
If you've got £850 to get rid of, give it to fareshare or the RNLI.

Well I can't get up that way for a bit, got to go to France next week and
there'll be a stack to do when I get back, Burghfield, is that that lake by the
M4 I sometimes see boats racing on? I guess it's not just a turn up deal,
must be a phone number to ring..

I have an Ullman contender sail but they also used to be popular with the 470 class.  Good quality sails.

Grumpf, if you go to see this thing after the 5th let me know - I'm in Worcester area all that week, I'll come and hold your zimmer while you look over the boat.  I could explain jargon such as 'deck stepped' too if need be!
the same, but different...

GRF

If you are traipsing along the M4 for a 'look' why not drop in at Burghfield (J12)and try out a 'Blaze' .... you never know what might just be in the pipeline either.

Thanks John, that hopefully might be a bit of a clue, who do they
normally work with/for, who would build a prototype and use their sails?
Not a name I've heard associated with RS, and who operates down that
way, Swindon? It's sort of Rondar territory but there's no markings to
indicate a Rondar build and the guy reckons it's pretty light and pretty
hi-tech (then he might mighten he, being a trade guy trying to flog it?).

Its mast is 'deck stepped' which I take to assume it doesn't go right to the
bottom of the boat so that might make rigging a spinnaker awkward, it is
an open cockpit wash through design so no self balers which is good, it
apparently has a flat for deck which might allow me to put my swivel pole
device, it's got a dagger which is not good news, but it has a kick up
rudder which is..
