Gotta be a national 12, not really a question. We had a 12 out at bbsc a le weekend dernier and it happily kept up with some pretty decent 200s. Oh i forgot to mention it's the first ever baggy trousers so it's pretty old skl

You might find that at 20st you are a little light for a Lark in a blow, will fly in sub F3 though. We are about 24st and are ok in most wind strenghts that we've been out in  (up to F5 gusting 6), we have only had the boat since Feb thought so could be wrong.

Lark - old boats remain competitive. 3 sails to play with. For that money you could pick up a good Parker II and get a new set of sails. Fit it out how you want. With 20st you'll fly.
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

Might be pushing it in a GP in heavy weather although it's doable.  Firefly? That's the other obvious one that isn't a modern fancy class, bit slower than a 12 probably but lovely boat.

You could get a good single bottomed twelve for less than 3000...

In fact- here's are some good double bottomed ones....
3415 Wylde Thing Wild Front Ear Double Bottomed Hampshire £1900
3465 Crouching Tiger Feeling Foolish Double Bottomed Cambridgeshire £2800

Don't let the fact that it's got no spinnaker put you off- it's can still be a handful! Also good for restricted sailing area....

How much is 125 kgs in stone? GP14 would be good, but not knowing the weight, i know it needs about 25 stone in a howler but can be sailed with 18...
