As far as im aware the gantry that's modified on uses only the holes that are originally in the boat (that the back bar and rudder gudgeon screws into) So although it would be out of class, it would take much to put it straight back into class again.  The idea being that anyone can fit the kit on themselves and not be a boat builder to know how.
From what i'd heard, the only thing that would need a couple of new holes in the boat is the ride wand.  And if a one were to be converted back to standard, im sure the fleet could tolerate a little block attached to the bow.

My personal view is that a foiling 600 is a fun concept, it has certainly generated a lot of interest in the class again, but it will fundamentally fragment the existing fleet, which is growing due to lower boat prices.

I'm not saying I'm not pro-development, even in SMODs, but if we are looking a foiler for bigger people, then I would back the prospective larger rig on the bladerider over killing off the 600.

The Rs600 has practically become a club boat anyway these days, open meetings struggle to get more than 10.  The eurocup, even held in a stunning venu like garda could only attract 8.  I know i'l get some stick for pointing out all this.
I actualy hope the foiling 600 does take off and if it does it may actualy help boost the standard 600 open meeting numbers.
If it were me and i wanted to go into an Assymetric canoe, I know i'l be spending some time in a standard canoe first to get used to it.  If i wanted a foiling moth, i'd make sure i could sail a low rider first.
If LDC were to embrace the foiling 600 and give it combine open meetings with the standard 600, surely the standard open meeting numbers will be boosted by people doing their time before they go flying.  And of course there could be those who do that, go for foils, find they dont like them but really enjoy the standard 600 and settle nicely with that.

Do you think this will go into production? becuase with the boat being a "one design" surelly that means they must all be the same? and im sure alot of people wont convert to foils

No, I'm afraid it's not. And I don't know that anyone out there intends to make it publicly available in the forseeable future.

Having benn to the 29er worlds at weymouth last week, i happened to notice a rather tired looking 600 with some modifications round the corner of the Full Force building. I think the project may have been abandoned unless there was another/MK 2 version inside - It didn't look like it had been used in a while.
