If my memory serves me correctly, the change was a tiny one to the gunwale line close to the forward wing bar - a small step in the gunwale was removed. Just a tidying up job. There is no difference in performance at all.

I think it was something to do with the earlier boats being built by ovington if im right, so there was probably new moulds made, or the possibility that the mould had worn out and they made a new fresh one, but the 600 is so strong that i dnt think that you'd notice any difference between them.

Speaking to RS people at the boatshow and they said that at sail no. 649 the RS600 changed it's mould.  Does  anyone know anything about this?  What difference does it make?  Is there any loss in speed?
