I bought an expensive top from a well known manufacturer. At the end of the second season I had exactly the same problem. I found a seamstress who replaced the zip with an all plastic one for £20. No issues from then on.

Just as an antidote to all that serious sh!t going on in the dinghy dev forum I wondered if anybody else thought this thread title sounded like the name of a fronter town in a dodgy western?
