just get yourself a Farr 3.7.
and dont get your knickers in a twist about it being made of wood. Resin comes from oil which comes from wood and other dead plants.

Mate of mine had one. He's about 65-70kg... said it was sh*t below a force 4. He's an optimistic bugger, always smiling type. Definitely not a grade 1 boat snob, so given that, it must be REALLY sh*t for folks like us with less tolerance.

Well that's what always put me off them until now, the thought of the lee hull induced endo. Didn't know they were sticky in light weather although that could be the sail it's a bit naff.

Aren't they inclined to nose dive? Are they sticky slow in light and with your waves you not being heavy enough to hold it up, both sideways & fore n aft when it gets interesting? I guess the kite helps though.
