Solved the problem anyway, choose the angle, about 10deg and sail the boat to the telltales. Works ok

I'm going to be racing a Sonar this summer.
Normally I'm in a Laser or on a board, so what is a good angle of heel to sail a Sonar at? I'm sure that someone will say as flat as possible, but we are a light crew so what's a good trade off between using the righting of the keel and slowing it down with too much heel? I can check heel with an app on my phone that is well damped. |
