They could have fared them in a bit though ...
Anyway so what they are still doing epic speeds ... I wonder when they will stop?
Keep going until distruction? is 70knots possible?

Just read Paul's recent blog - great reading, you should get all that published in a book, it would definitely be on my Santa's list. What about a feature film (a la Cool Running)? If you all pretended to be American, Hollywood would pay $$$ for that script! EDIT; And then I'm sure you got some more to come, for a sequel!

not just a headcam- there's one stuck to the foredeck and more- the one up on the wing?
But then what do I know, I've never sailed a water craft at 65knts.

+1. Incredible.
Al has a point - that headcam must have increased drag. |

What could possibly go wrong?

The aerial footage was taken from a remote controlled 'model' plane with a Gopro camera fitted to it.
"I also made sure that our friend and guru RC model plane flyer Bernt was there. He had a plane which could fly at 110kmh with a GoPro2 on it."

does amaze me that with so much attention paid to the aero dynamics, they stick some distintly non-aero Go Pros to the boat and his helmet...

the kite suffer was taking the aerial footage and needed a different vector to keep SailRocket in frame for as long as possible.
