METCHECK ??????

   I haven't been able to get anything out of it for a week , says "Data Temporarily Unavailable"     has it demised ??????, I get same response from home and work aol and internet explorer , any else having same prob ???

	Yup- there's a little mention of the problem at the bottom of the latest home page post on the site. Would be nice if they'd said something more, earlier. Wonder if the problem is affecting their paying customers, and if so if they're being kept more informed?

	perhaps the site is down as the founder was locked up for 8 years for kiddy fiddling. Personally I'd rather use any other weather site

	Its a reasonably large website, and being run as a company. One person being arested wouldnt cause them to turn off only the simulation servers. If that was the case, the whole site would have been taken down, and a notice put up in its place. (My thought is someone updated a live copy of the software they run the simulations on without testing it properly or without taking a proper backup, so they have had to pull out a backup, and make any recent changes again .. We've all done it!! )
