Right i have just searched the forum and have found we havnt got a thread for people dinghy based "Pimp" mods. I am collecting my 200 tomorrow so will start pimping and posting pictures. Things to post would be new paint jobs, flash new ropes/sales/blacks etc. Even new pro-grip.
So whos done some? I will b e looking forward to TT's pimps on his soon to be new 300 (he wont be able to stop himself) |

The vynal stickers we put on the V3000 and the fully black and white colourcoded ropes on the 3000 are pretty cool, heres a pic

Once i get the 200 on the drive i think my first mods are going to be some Maffolli ropes, ronstan orbits for kite and main. |

I'd start off with the stuff that makes you go faster. 1) Get the rig setting from the top guys. 2) Make sure your foils and rig are square in the boat; here are some shots of me doing this on the 12, gives you an idea of the process. BTW the 12 was pefectly square even though it was a one off. Brett built a good boat. 3) Taper the kite halyard |

Merlinboy - what sail number is your 200? The one I bought was still a 1:1 purchase on the main, so that soon got changed for Harken blocks. Also a new kite system was in order as it had a cleat rather than a Spinlock. Next thing to chnage will be the kicker onto a 16:1 system, cos i don't think it is. Oh plus all our ropes changes cos they were pants. |

Its 805, still has 1:1 on main not sure about kicker but i would suspect its not 16:1. I'm off to get her now so will fill in the blanks later!! |
