Yeah, I don't like my radial. I need a new singlehander (I have posted elsewhere on the forum asking about Europes)

I don't mind low booms, I'm still fairly bendy at 16 years old!
I don't want to trapeze, and I want something light that I can handle in strong winds.

Not so keen on the Byte CII either!!

Any other ideas?

I am in almost exacly the same situation, am bored with my radial but im looking at moving into cats, probably a hobie 18 as they are popular round here.

are you looking for an established racing circuit as well?

fast/medium/slow?
sea/reservoir/puddle?
fast roll tacking close quarters tactics/straight line speed slower tacking stratgy type tactics?
large fleet/small fleet?

Sprint 15 (dart 15) if you don't want to wire.

 

F16 if you do and might want a crew now and then.  Shadow if you only ever want to sail on your own
